Reviews & Ratings for Products in Stores

Store owners can enhance their store's credibility and foster greater customer engagement with the Reviews and Ratings feature. This functionality allows customers to submit product reviews and ratings, which the store owner can moderate before publishing. Displayed on both the product list and product details pages, customer feedback adds value for future buyers and strengthens trust in the store's products.

How to Use Reviews and Ratings

Enabling Reviews and Ratings

You can enable Product Reviews and Ratings on both the Product Details and Product List pages within your store. Begin by navigating to the Stores section within your account, then opt to create a new store, or edit an existing store.

Access the Builder of the Products List or Product Details page by clicking the Edit option.

Select the Products List element, then enable the Show Reviews and Ratings toggle. This option in the builder preview displays customer reviews along with a visible rating count if desired.

To hide the ratings count, simply disable the toggle. Additionally, you have the option to customize the color of the reviews and ratings text, and star icons to align with your company branding.

Be sure to Save and Publish the page once you are satisfied with its design.

Return to the main screen to manage the Reviews and Ratings option for the Product Details list if required.

Submitting Reviews and Ratings as a Customer

Customers will find a Reviews and Ratings section at the bottom of each Product Details page.

Clicking Write a Review opens a submission form with required fields (Name, Email) and optional fields (Contact Number, Headline, Description).

After submission, reviews await approval by the store owner, with a confirmation message displayed to the customer.

Publishing and Moderating Reviews and Ratings 

To manage submitted reviews, store owners can navigate to Payments > Products > Reviews.

New customer reviews are displayed in the Pending section, allowing store owners to Approve, Unapprove, or Move to Trash individually or in bulk. Store owners can also respond to individual reviews through the actions menu and filter reviews by Time Frame, Ratings, Product Name, and Store Name. Approved reviews are published automatically on the store, with the Product List page displaying the average rating and total number of ratings for each product.

The Product Details page provides a comprehensive view of all Reviews and Ratings, showcasing each review along with a detailed breakdown of the rating counts for each category.

By using the Reviews and Ratings feature, store owners can provide a transparent, user-friendly platform for feedback, building trust, and encouraging customer interaction with the store.

  • Font Configuration: Font sizes are fixed due to content hierarchy, while the font family and color align with page content.
  • Permanent Deletion: Reviews can be permanently deleted only from the Trash section in the Admin Preview.
