Email Services Settings
The Email Services settings within Agency View provide comprehensive control over the email services used by your agency and its associated sub-accounts. This section enables you to set up, monitor, and adjust email configurations to ensure smooth communication across all accounts. Additionally, you can configure the Postmaster Tool and email verification, which helps prevent issues or disruptions for sub-accounts connected via LeadConnector. These features are essential for maintaining consistent communication reliability and ensuring that any potential issues are promptly addressed.
Access this feature by navigating to Settings > Email Services from the Agency View.
SMTP Settings
The SMTP Service section displays the email service providers connected to your agency account.
Add a new service, or use the default to handle communications sent via email.
If you are using the default provider, it is recommended to add a dedicated domain and IP. A dedicated sending domain ensures that your emails appear to come directly from your brand, enhancing your reputation with email services. Additionally, a dedicated IP provides the benefit of sending emails from a unique, exclusive IP address, helping to improve deliverability and reduce the risk of being flagged as spam.
After adding your domain, you'll receive DNS records (TXT, CNAME, MX) to add to your domain registrar's DNS settings. Log into your domain registrar's dashboard and input the provided DNS records. Return to your CRM and verify the domain to complete the setup.
Location Settings
The Location Settings section enables you to configure and manage connections with your SMTP provider. It also provides the ability to remove existing connections for accounts connected to LC Email and monitor the phone rebilling status for each sub-account, ensuring accurate tracking and seamless management of email services.
In this section, you can also enable email verification for all sub-accounts. This feature improves the effectiveness of your email campaigns by ensuring that emails are only sent to addresses capable of interacting with them. Reducing the likelihood of sending emails to invalid or inactive accounts, helps maintain a high sender reputation and boosts your overall email delivery rate.
Utilize the Search bar and filtering tool to locate a particular sub-account, or those that meet certain criteria.
If the desired sub-account is still not visible, click the refresh icon to reload the system and display all available records.
The table provides essential details for each location, including its name, designated provider, connected domains, and email verification and rebilling status. Select the pencil icon at the end of the row to update the domain settings for locations on MailGun or LeadConnector email services.
Risk Assessment
The Risk Assessment tab displays a comprehensive overview of email deliverability and potential risks for sub-accounts that have not enabled the individual email verification feature.
This overview can be filtered to display metrics within a specific date range, enabling more focused and precise analyses.
The table provides details for each import including its name, the sub-account where the import was initiated, the date of creation, the number of emails imported, and the percentage of deliverable, undeliverable, and unknown email addresses.
Bounce Classification
Open the Bounce Classification section to obtain an overview of the bounce rates of each sub-account over a specified period.
Apply filters to narrow down the results to get data related to a particular sub-account (1) over a specified period (2). Additional filters can also be applied (3) for a more targeted view.
You can also view:
- Permanent Bounce: The number of emails that failed permanently.
- Permanent Bounce Rate: The percentage of emails that failed permanently.
- ESP/ISP Block: The number of emails that were blocked by the recipient's email server.
- Delivered: The number of emails that were successfully delivered to the recipient.
- Delivery Rate: The percentage of emails that were delivered.
The Bounce Classification Overview table provides a detailed analysis of the selected sub-account by displaying key information such as the email service provider, category, error code, status code, definition, and bounce count. This table allows you to identify patterns in the errors encountered by the sub-account, enabling you to take corrective actions and improve their sending reputation.
Postmaster Tools
Navigate to the Postmaster Tools section to connect to Google Postmaster or Microsoft SNDS. Google Postmaster Tools helps enhance inbox placement, reduce spam rates, and maintain a strong domain reputation with Gmail users. Meanwhile, the Microsoft SNDS Tool provides valuable insights into the email activity of your IPs on Microsoft platforms, including Outlook and Hotmail. It delivers crucial data on IP health, spam complaints, filter results, and blocked status, ensuring that your emails successfully reach their intended recipients.
Advanced Settings
In the Advanced Settings tab, you have the option to enable or disable the feature that automatically activates email verification for newly created sub-accounts. When enabled, this feature ensures that all new sub-accounts undergo email verification by default, helping to maintain the integrity of email lists from the outset. This can significantly reduce the risk of sending emails to invalid or inactive addresses, improving sender reputation and email deliverability. Disabling this feature allows you to manually control email verification settings for each sub-account as needed.
With features like SMTP settings, email verification, risk assessment, and postmaster tools, you can ensure the reliability, deliverability, and reputation of email campaigns. Configure essential aspects of your email communication in your Email Services settings today.
