How to Install Your Chat Widget

The Chat Widget lets you instantly capture visitors from your website and transform them into leads inside the system. If you are here that probably means you've already created a Chat Widget and are ready to use it. However, your Chat Widget has to be connected to a website to be functional.

So how do you connect it? The answer will depend on where you've built your website, so let's check all the ways to get the Chat Widget set. Before we begin, make sure you have created, customized, and saved at least one Chat Widget in your CRM. If you have not please check our related articles on how to do so.

Adding to an External Website

If your website is built on Squarespace, GoDaddy, or the like you will have to install the Chat Widget as an embedded element/custom code element in the header or footer code. If you are unfamiliar with how to do this, seek out the help of a web developer or your CRM administrator.

Follow the steps above to copy the code, then paste it into the relevant section of your site!
