How to Edit the Blog Post Style
A well-styled blog not only enhances readability but also reinforces your brand identity and keeps visitors coming back. This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to access and style your blog content using the built-in editor within your site. From adjusting layout and typography to applying custom colors and formatting, you'll learn how to tailor your blog’s look and feel to match your overall design goals.
Access Your Blog Site
From your dashboard, navigate to Sites > Blogs, then select the name of the blog site you wish to edit. Alternatively, you may choose to create a new blog site.
After selecting the blog, you’ll be directed to the blog site overview. Here, you will find an option to edit the blog site. Click this to proceed.
Within the blog site editor, locate and click on the page labeled “Blog Post.”
On the Blog Post page, select the Blog Content element.
Once selected, navigate to the Styles panel. Here, you can apply custom styling to your blog post layout and appearance.
Styling Your Blog Content
You can choose to enable or disable the cover image displayed at the top of the blog post page. Additionally, customization options are available for adjusting the width and height of the cover image to align with your design preferences.
Next, customize the appearance of the blog post title by choosing your preferred font family and selecting a size, weight, color, and style that is both visually appealing and complimentary to your brand identity. Additionally, you can choose how the text will appear in the text transform section and then adjust the margin and padding settings.
The Blog Content section contains settings similar to the Blog Post Title with the addition of Background Color and Link Color customizations. Be sure to adjust each setting to suit your needs!
With options such as adjusting the radius of the author icon and icon, as well as the style and display type, you can tailor the Author section to align with your design preferences. Additional settings are also available to adjust typography for a cohesive and polished look.
📌Note: To omit a specific social media profile from being displayed, simply leave the corresponding field blank in the Blog Author settings section.
Finally, tailor the button placeholder, typography, button corner, and other button styles.
After making each change, preview the design in the editor to ensure that it matches your vision, and don't forget to save when you are satisfied!
