Other Option in Forms & Surveys

The "Other" option in forms and surveys allows you to capture custom responses, enabling respondents to provide input beyond the predefined options. This feature significantly enhances flexibility, empowering you to gather more personalized and insightful data. It works seamlessly with both checkbox and radio button elements, offering a more comprehensive experience.

How It Works

Begin by editing the form or survey where you wish to add the "Other" option and click a multiple-choice field (checkbox or radio button) you want to modify. This action will open its settings.

Next, switch to the “Options” tab, then click the button labeled “Add 'Other' option.”

A new field will now be available within the options labels and the form builder, which can be removed at any time by selecting the trash icon.

After making your changes, save your form to ensure the "Other" option is available to respondents.

When a respondent selects the "Other" option within your form or survey, a text box will appear, allowing them to type their custom response.

You can easily review and analyze these custom responses directly from your submission reports.
