Page View Trigger
Using the Page View trigger in workflows can transform customer interactions. You can deliver timely and personalized engagements by automating responses based on specific web page visits. This method enhances customer engagement tracking and helps identify the most engaged users, leading to more effective marketing strategies.
Adding the Funnel/Website PageView Trigger
Within the workflow builder, click the "Add New Trigger" button and choose the "Funnel/Website PageView" option from the provided selections.
Filters
Funnel/Website
Once the trigger is selected, you will choose the filters starting with the Funnel or Website. This will fire off the workflow once a contact has visited the funnel of your choosing depending on the filters you've selected.
Page
You can also choose a specific page or URL to filter by if you want your automation to fire based on your contact visiting a particular page.
Page Path
The Page Path filter allows you to specify a portion of a URL path that will activate the workflow. For instance, if you want your automation to fire when a contact visits any page within a specific category or section of your website (e.g., /cart-page/ or /product-details-page/), you can define that path here. This is especially useful for creating targeted automation based on broader page groupings rather than specific URLs.
UTM Parameters
If you want to get even more specific, you can filter by different UTM Parameters.
📌NOTE: The "Page View Trigger" activates only if the visiting customer's details are present on the webpage. This ensures that workflow automation is executed with accurate customer context and engagement data.
Once you’ve configured the necessary filters, click the Save Trigger button in the bottom-right corner to complete the setup.
After adding the trigger and its associated actions, don’t forget to Publish and Save the workflow to activate it
You’re all set to build workflows that respond to your clients’ visits to specific funnels or websites. This allows you to engage with your audience in meaningful ways, creating a smoother and more personalized experience.
