Automating DNS Setup for Domain and Subdomains

Access Account Settings:

  • Navigate to the settings section of your account to begin the process.

Domain Management:

  • Click on the "Domains" tab from the left navigation menu, then press the "+Add" button to start adding your domain.

Enter Domain Information:

  • Type in your root domain or subdomain in the provided field. If you're including "www" in your domain, use the toggle option to decide whether to add the root domain, then click on "Continue".

Authorize DNS Record Creation:

  • By clicking “Authorize”, you allow the system to automatically handle the creation of DNS records for you.

Verify Sub-domain Addition:

  • After adding and authorizing the domain, you should see the sub-domain (www) added to your list of domains.

Setting Up URL Redirects:

  • To redirect access, navigate to "URL Redirects" from the menu and click on "+ Add a Redirect".
  • Select your Domain and the Redirect Type "ALL", then click on "Add Redirect" to finalize the setup.

  • You can now see the redirected domain listed under your domains, confirming the successful setup.
