Birthday Reminder Trigger
The birthday reminder trigger is an automated feature designed to celebrate a customer’s special day by initiating a personalized notification. This tool not only creates memorable interactions but also helps you build stronger, lasting relationships with your customers. By leveraging these reminders, your brand demonstrates appreciation and thoughtfulness, enhancing customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Adding the Birthday Reminder Trigger
Start by clicking the "Add New Trigger" button and selecting Birthday Reminder from the options. This trigger is especially useful for automating birthday reminders.
📌NOTE: To publish workflows, you must establish a workflow trigger and action. Without both, you can only save the workflow and not publish it.
Add Filters
Click the "Add Filters" button to customize your birthday reminders by choosing from various available filters.
After No. of Days
The "After a Specific Number of Days" filter allows you to set reminders a certain number of days after a customer's birthday. This is ideal for follow-up messages or post-birthday greetings. For example, if you’d like to send a message five days after the celebration, simply input "5" as the number of days, and the workflow will trigger the reminder accordingly.
Before No. of Days
With the "Before a Specific Number of Days" filter, you can send a notification a few days before a customer or team member's birthday. For instance, if someone’s birthday is on August 3rd, you could set the reminder to go out on August 2nd. The workflow would then send a message on the 2nd and allow you to use the "Wait" action to follow up with a birthday SMS on the exact day, August 3rd.
Day Is
The "Day Is" filter triggers a workflow on the exact date of the customer’s birthday. Use this option to ensure timely and celebratory messages are delivered right on their special day.
Month Is
The "Month Is" filter enables you to send bulk birthday messages to all celebrants for a specific month. For example, you can choose to send a message on the 1st of every month to all customers or team members whose birthdays fall within that month. This filter allows you to efficiently manage and celebrate multiple birthdays at once.
Once you’ve set up your filters and reminders, click "Save Trigger" to finalize your birthday reminder workflow.
📌NOTE: You can add workflow actions to automate tasks such as notifications, follow-ups, or account updates.
Once you’ve set up the trigger and its actions, Publish and Save the workflow to enable its functionality.
