Invoice (trigger)
The Invoice trigger provides workflow automation tailored to payment and invoice status, according to your requirements. This feature allows you to set up automated actions that respond to changes in invoice status. By configuring this trigger, you can enhance your financial processes, ensuring timely follow-ups, notifications, and actions are executed automatically based on the current state of your invoices. This helps maintain operational efficiency and ensures that critical tasks related to invoice management are handled promptly and accurately.
To configure this trigger, click on the Add New Workflow Trigger button within a workflow and choose the Invoice option from the available selections.
Filters
An initial filter labeled Invoice Status will appear, allowing you to choose from the paid, partially paid, sent, viewed, or void options.
These options allow you to track invoices for better oversight and setting up proactive communications, and actions based on them.
To refine the trigger further, additional filters such as Has Tag and other custom fields can be added using the Add Filters option. If the Has Tag filter is selected, choose the specific tag that should trigger the workflow.
By implementing this trigger, you can efficiently manage your invoicing and payment processes, ensuring timely and accurate tracking of financial transactions, leading to improved financial management and streamlined operations.
