In-app notifications offer a convenient way for community members to stay connected and engaged. By providing real-time updates on interactions like mentions and comments, this feature ensures that you are always in the loop. Additionally, the intuitive bell icon simplifies navigation, helping you easily distinguish between read and unread notifications to keep your feed organized.
To make the most out of this new feature, follow these simple steps:
Accessing Communities
Navigate to the "Memberships" tab on the left navigation menu. Select "Communities" and then "Groups".
Entering a Group
Create a new group or log into an existing one.
Locating the Notification Bell
Once inside the group, look for the bell icon located at the top right corner of the page.
Viewing Notifications
Click on the bell icon to reveal a drop-down menu displaying all your notifications.
You can toggle between viewing all notifications or just the unread ones.
After reviewing your notifications, you can mark them as read by selecting the three-dot menu. Once this is done, the Unread section will be cleared.
