How to Cancel SaaS sub-account for your client.
This Article is a complete guide for all cancellation processes for SaaS-enabled sub-accounts. It contains instructions on how to cancel a SAAS sub-account for your client and how to allow them to cancel their SAAS subscription with your Agency.
Step 1: Cancel the SaaS Account on Behalf of Your Client
Begin by navigating to your client's sub-account. Access the "Settings" menu and proceed to the "Company Billing'' section, all of which can be found within the left-hand menu. While here, carefully inspect the wallet for any non-complementary credits. If such credits are present, it is imperative to issue refunds for these credits through your Stripe account.
To discern the nature of wallet credits (complimentary or non-complimentary), navigate to "Sub-account Settings" > "Company Billing" > "See Details" (Transaction History).
Step 2: Disable SaaS Mode
In the Agency view, proceed to the "Sub Accounts" section within the left menu. Locate the specific sub-account you intend to cancel and click on the sub-account's name to access its details.
Important Note: Before disabling SaaS, we strongly recommend exporting all transaction details. Once SaaS Mode is disabled, all transaction and wallet history will be permanently removed.
Step 3: Decide Whether to Keep the Data or Delete the Sub-account
Your choice in this step depends on your specific requirements.
- If you intend to retain the client's data even after canceling the SaaS model, access the "Actions" dropdown menu at the upper right corner and select the "Pause Sub Account" option. This will maintain the sub-account, and when the client logs in, they will be prompted to resubscribe.
- If you do not wish to preserve their data, you can proceed to delete the sub-account.
These clear and professional steps will guide you through the process of canceling a SaaS account for your client while providing the flexibility to manage data retention based on your preferences.
