SaaS configurator Advanced Settings
The "Advanced Settings" within the SaaS Configurator offer you a precise level of control over the management of sub-account subscriptions and the handling of sub-account behavior in case of SaaS subscription failures.
Follow these clear and professional steps to configure these settings:
- Access the SaaS Configurator and navigate to the "Advanced Settings" tab, situated at the top of the interface.
- Within this tab, you will encounter three straightforward settings that can be easily toggled on or off to suit your preferences.
a. "Suspend Sub-account when SaaS Subscription Fails": Enabling this setting is crucial to prevent unauthorized use of the platform by customers who have not made their payments. It automates the process, offering a seamless experience for agency owners.
b. "Allow Sub-account Admins to Upgrade Their Subscription": For those on the Pro Plan with a sub-account in SaaS mode, you have the option to enable any of the three SaaS plans for them. Once they are added to a SaaS plan from the system, their subscription management is handled at the Stripe level. Activating this setting grants them the ability to upgrade their subscription directly from their account settings under "Company Billing." This setting applies to all SaaS accounts created through your SaaS Configurator going forward.
You can also customize this setting on a per-client basis by navigating to the Agency Sidebar > Sub-Accounts > Locating the specific client > Accessing their subscription details and marking the checkbox to allow them to upgrade. This specific setting will only affect this sub-account and not all SaaS accounts created using your SaaS Configurator in the future.
c. "Allow Sub-account Admins to Cancel Their Subscription": This setting enables clients (sub-accounts) to independently cancel their subscriptions. This setting applies to all SaaS accounts created through your SaaS Configurator moving forward.
Similar to the previous setting, you can also manage this feature on a per-client basis by visiting the Agency Sidebar > Sub-Accounts > Finding the specific client > Clicking on their name or "Manage Client."
*Upon enabling this setting, your client will have access to a "Modify Subscription" button within their subscription details, located in "Settings" under "*Company Billing."
Please be aware that, for optimal performance, it is recommended to enable the first setting explained in this guide in conjunction with these advanced settings.
