How to enable and rebill LC Email Validation
How to Activate and Bill for LC Email Validation
What is Email Validation?
Email Validation is a process that checks if an email address can receive emails. In simple terms, it helps determine if an email address is valid before you send an email. Please note that the email validation feature is exclusively for LC and Mailgun users.
How to Enable Email Validation:
- Go to the agency settings page and click on Email Services.
- Access the Location Settings Tab.
- Activate the Email Validation Switch for sub-accounts
4. Sub-account users can now enable or disable email verification (only for LC Email).
When a sub-account user enables email verification, a notification will be sent to all active agency admins and the company's registered email address, indicating that email verification is enabled in the sub-account (only for LC Email).
To Enable Email Verification:
- If the sub-account is not in SaaS Mode already:
- In the agency view, click on Sub-Accounts, search for the sub-account
- Click the three dots icon and select "Switch to SaaS."
- Click on the sub-account Name or click on the three dots at the bottom right to Manage Client.
- Scroll down to find the LC Email Verification section.
Use the slider to set the markup amount and save.
- Enable Re-verification for 90 days:
- Email validity can change due to reasons like MX records changing or being invalid. Enabling re-validation for 90 days helps refresh email validation status.
Please Note:
For agencies on the $297/$2970 plan, the rebilling multiplier is fixed at 1.05x. You need to be on the $497/$4970 plan to increase it beyond 1.05x.
Email Validation Pricing: We charge $2.50 for 1000 Email Validations for all plans, which is more cost-effective than most major providers, with Mailgun charging $12/1000, making LC Email Validation 79% cheaper.
How Email Validation Works:
All emails are validated before sending. If an email hasn't been validated in the last 90 days, it will be re-validated before sending.
Manually Checking Email Validation:
On the contact detail page, you can manually check the email validation. Navigate to the contact record, scroll down on the right side, and click the envelope icon.
