Custom Values: Update Your Business Info Once, Everywhere

Custom values store details like your phone number or booking link once, so you can reuse them in emails, texts, and pages.

A custom value is a saved piece of business info, like your main phone number, your booking link, or your service area. You use it in emails, texts, and pages. When the info changes, you update it in one spot and every message that uses it updates too.

Where to find them

Go to Settings, then Custom Values.

Add a custom value

  1. Click New Custom Value.
  2. Give it a name, like "Booking Link".
  3. Enter the value, like the link itself.
  4. Pick a folder if you want to keep things organized.
  5. Click Save.

Each custom value gets a Key. That's the code you drop into a message so the system fills in the value.

Change one

Click the three dots next to it, then Edit Custom Value. Change it and save. Everything that uses that key picks up the change.

Before you delete one

Deleting a custom value can't be undone. Any message or page using it will show a blank where the value used to be. If you're not sure where it's used, email support@earnworthy.com first.

FAQ

Did Earnworthy already set some of these up?

Yes. During onboarding we set up things like your email template, brand colors, business and phone info, the mailing address in your email footer, your authorized representative, logos, and calendar links. Check with us before you change one you didn't create.

What's the difference between a custom value and a custom field?

A custom value is the same for your whole business, like your phone number. A custom field is different for each contact, like their first name.
