Every review deserves a reply. A quick thank-you on a good one shows you're paying attention. A calm answer to a rough one shows future customers how you handle problems. Both get read by people deciding whether to call you.
Reply from Amplify
Once Google is connected, your reviews show up inside Amplify.
- Click Reputation in the left menu, then Reviews.
- Find the review.
- Click reply, type your answer, and post it.
Your reply posts to Google publicly, under your business name.
Don't see your reviews? Google may not be connected yet. See Connecting Your Google Business Profile.
Or reply on Google
You can also reply from your Business Profile on Google Search or Maps. Open your profile, go to Reviews, and reply there.
What to say
- Good reviews. Thank them by name, mention the job if you can, and keep it short. "Thanks, Maria. Glad the new water heater is working great."
- Bad reviews. Stay calm. Thank them for the feedback, own what's fair, and take it offline. "Sorry we missed the mark. Please call me at the shop so I can make it right."
- Never share private details about the customer or the job.

Can I get a review taken down?
Only if it breaks Google's rules, like spam or offensive content. You can flag it on Google. A bad review that's just unhappy stays up, so your reply matters even more.
How fast should I reply?
Within a few days is a good habit. The new-review email from Google is your reminder.
