Sending Us Your Logo and Brand Files

A blurry logo makes a business look small. Here's which logo files we need and how to get them from your designer or printer.

Your logo shows up on your website, your emails, your digital card, and more. To look sharp everywhere, we need the right file.

The files we want

  • Best: a vector file. These end in .svg, .eps, .ai, or sometimes .pdf. Vector files stay crisp at any size.
  • Fine: a large PNG with a transparent background. The bigger, the better.
  • Hard to use: a screenshot, a photo of a sign, a tiny image from your Facebook page, or a logo pasted into a Word document.

Where to find them

  • Whoever designed your logo. Ask for "the vector files, in SVG or EPS."
  • Your printer or sign shop. If they printed your trucks, shirts, or business cards, they almost always have the vector file. Ask them to email it.
  • Canva. If your logo lives in Canva, download it as a PNG with a transparent background, or as an SVG if your plan allows. A view-only Canva link doesn't let us download or edit the file.

Also helpful

  • Your brand colors, if you know the color codes
  • A light version for dark backgrounds, if you have one

FAQ

I don't have a vector file. Now what?

Send the best version you've got and tell us where it came from. We'll let you know if it'll work.

I changed my logo. What do I update?

Send us the new files. Your logo is stored as one of your custom values, so we can update it across your account. See Custom Values: Update Your Business Info Once, Everywhere.
