Writing posts is nice. The real time saver is that Ask AI can read your account. Ask it about a customer before you call them back, and you'll get the whole story in one answer instead of clicking through five tabs.
This article covers your contacts, your inbox, your pipeline, your calendar, and your numbers. New to Ask AI? Start with What Ask AI Is and How to Open It.
Get a customer summary before you call
This is the one we'd use every day. Before you return a call, get the full picture.
- Open Ask AI.
- Type Summarize a contact and press Enter.
- When it asks who, type the customer's name, email, or phone number.
- If more than one person matches, pick the right one and click Submit.
- Read the summary.
The summary can include their contact info, where the lead came from, their pipeline stage, appointments, open tasks, payments, and recent texts, emails, and calls. It ends with a quick read on where things stand.
From there, keep going in the same chat. "Create a task to call her back tomorrow at 10." "What did we quote him last time?" No setup needed.
You can also skip the summary and just ask.
- "When is Jane Smith's next appointment?"
- "What tasks are open for the Hendersons?"
- "When did we last talk to 772-555-0143?"
- "What should I know before I follow up with this lead?"
Add and update contacts
Ask AI can add contacts, update their info, and manage tags, notes, and tasks.
- "Add a contact named Carlos Rivera, phone 772-555-0198, tag him Referral."
- "Add a note to Linda Park: wants the estimate emailed, not texted."
- "Tag everyone who booked a furnace tune-up last October as Tune-Up 2025."
- "Remind me to follow up with the Garcias in 3 days."
When it's about to change something, you'll see a confirmation screen first. For a change that touches many contacts, it shows you how many before it runs. Check that number. If you expected 40 and it says 400, cancel.
Not sure how tags work in your account? See How to Use Tags to Organize Your Contacts.
Your inbox: send and schedule messages
Ask AI can send a text or email, schedule one for later, and cancel a scheduled message.
- "Text Mark Allen: Running 15 minutes late, see you at 2:15."
- "Schedule a text to Sarah Lee for Friday at 9 AM reminding her about Monday's install."
- "Cancel the scheduled text to Sarah Lee."
Your regular inbox is still where you'll reply to most people. See How to Reply to Texts and Emails From Your Inbox.
Be careful with mass texts
Ask AI can also text or email a whole list at once, like "Text everyone tagged Spring Leads." Slow down here. Texting rules still apply, and a blast to people who never opted in can get your texting paused. Read Why Your Texting Got Paused: Opt-Outs and Daily Limits before you send one. If you're not sure, email us first.
Your pipeline
Ask AI can find leads, move them between stages, and update their value.
- "Show me every open lead in my pipeline."
- "Which leads haven't moved in 7 days?"
- "Move the Johnson roof replacement to [stage name]."
- "Change the Patel kitchen job value to $18,500."
Keep your stages honest. Your pipeline is only useful if it shows where each job really stands. More in How to Use Your Pipeline (Lead Tracker).
Your calendar
Ask AI can look up, book, and change appointments, and block time off.
- "What's on my calendar tomorrow?"
- "Block off next Friday, I'm out."
- "Move the Wilson estimate from Tuesday at 3 to Wednesday at 10."
Your numbers
Ask AI can pull the numbers from your dashboard and answer questions about them.
- "How many new leads did we get last month?"
- "Show me this month's numbers from my dashboard as a table."
It reads from your dashboard reports. It can't dig into the raw call log or text log, so if a number isn't on your dashboard, it may not be able to answer.
Set up a Monday report
You can save a prompt and have Ask AI run it on a schedule. It's like a report that writes itself.
- Open Ask AI from the top bar or left menu.
- Go to Scheduled Tasks.
- Click + New task.
- Give it a name, like "Monday pipeline check."
- Type the prompt. For example: "List leads in my pipeline that haven't moved in 7 days and suggest a next step for each."
- Pick how often: Manually, Hourly, Daily, Weekdays, or Weekly.
- Set the day and time, then click Save.
Shortcut: just say it in a chat. "Every weekday at 7 AM, give me a list of today's appointments." Ask AI sets up the schedule for you.
To read the results, open Scheduled Tasks and click a run in its history. New results get a marker until you open them. It won't email or text you the report unless your prompt tells it to.
You can pause, edit, delete, or Run now any task. Each run counts as Ask AI usage, like any chat.
Good ones to start with:
- "Every weekday at 7 AM, list today's appointments with addresses."
- "Every Monday at 8 AM, summarize new contacts from last week and where they came from."
- "Every Friday at 4 PM, list open tasks that are past due."
Build a workflow
You can build workflows with Ask AI. Describe the automation in plain English, and it builds it for you.
- Open Ask AI and start a new chat.
- Describe what you want. For example: "Create a workflow that sends a thank-you email when someone fills out my estimate form, notifies me, and creates a task to call them."
- Look at the preview in the panel. Click any trigger or action to see how it's set up.
- Tell Ask AI what to change, like "Wait 2 hours after the form is submitted before sending the email." It updates the workflow.
- When it looks right, click Open in automation to edit.
- Make any changes by hand in the workflow builder, test it, and publish it from there.
You can't edit the preview by hand inside Ask AI, and nothing goes live until you publish it from the builder.
Your follow-up, reminders, and review requests already run on automations we built and tested for you. A new workflow can overlap with them, like a customer getting two texts for the same thing. That's why it's always better to ask us before you build anything complicated. And if you have a question or you're not sure about something, email support@earnworthy.com any time.

FAQ
Is the customer summary up to date?
Yes. It pulls from your account when you ask, so it shows what's there right now.
Can Ask AI text all my customers at once?
It can, but it'll confirm the list size first. Make sure everyone on that list agreed to get texts from you.
Will my scheduled report notify me?
Not by default. Check Scheduled Tasks for the results, or add "and email it to me" to the prompt.
I asked about a customer and it picked the wrong one. What do I do?
Ask again with their email or phone number instead of their name. If it shows a list, pick the right person before you click Submit.
